INCIGHT Character Awards
WHAT IS THE INCIGHT CHARACTER AWARD?
The purpose of the character awards is to acknowledge the unsung senior heroes - the young women and men who deserve to be recognized because of their character and the choices they make in life and in school.
Our passion is to help foster and acknowledge the next generation of selfless people. Individuals who stand up for someone, who have worked through life's challenges, who lift others up and/or lend a helping hand. We want these extraordinary students to know we see them and appreciate them for who they are.
This award is based on the following character traits:
Respect | Responsibility | Honesty | Integrity
Compassion | Kindness | Courage | Perserverance
Students can be nominated for the award by their school administrators, staff, teachers and coaches. The INCIGHT Character Award Committee chooses the recipients from a private ballot. The selected students are presented their Character Award during the Evening of Excellence. Selected students will be awarded $300, with the 12th senior awarded with the Mark Silverman Award and $500.
