Benefits

Experts in the field of disability research point to the need for organizations to act as intermediaries between high schools, colleges and businesses in all communities. As such, we seek to be an organizational base for keeping youth connected, so they do not fall through the cracks after high school as can often happen. Incight is an important resource for each youth as they are determining the next steps and transitioning into life after high school, locating college scholarships, accessing internships, and further helping bridge the gap between businesses and colleges in ensuring a productive and employable future.

Benefits of Incight as an Intermediary to the community:

  • Prepare youth for the workplace.
  • Promote quality work-based learning activities to enhance employer buy-in.
  • Conduct outreach to other community institutions and partners.
  • Sustain dialogue between major players.
